EGMONT KEY ISLAND IS THE BEST KEPT SECRET SPOT FOR SNORKELING!
You will be exploring the historic Egmont Key island located off the north end of Anna Maria island. You will get off the boat and be guided through the island of Egmont Key. There is amazing wildlife on the island like Gopher tortoises, Ospreys, and Bald Eagles. The forts we will explore are left over from 100+ year’s ago. The light house on the island is over 160 years old. While snorkeling you can find beautiful sand dollars and see lots of subtropical fish swimming all around the sunken forts in the water.
Wild life sight seeing & sandbar hopping charters
We will potentially see lots of dolphins, manatees, and sea turtles throughout the day. You will also be able to get off the boat and explore these awesome islands called Jewfish Key, Beer Can Island, Passage Key Egmont key & Longboat Key.

Getting PADI scuba certified for Open Water, PADI Advanced Open Water, and PADI Rescue Diver is as easy as 1-2-3.
1. Purchase your E-Learning from PADI online and start your PADI E-Learning from the comfort of your own home.
2. When completed with the PADI E-Learning schedule a date to start your 2 days of in water training.
3. When you have completed the 2 days of in water training with Scuba Ethan a PADI IDC Staff Instructor / Master Scuba Diving Trainer you will be certified as a PADI Open Water, PADI Advanced Open Water, Or PADI Rescue Diver depending what course you get certified for.

Here at Scuba Ethan’s Outdoor Adventures Captain Ethan Brannock is a PADI Master Scuba Diving Instructor - PADI IDC Staff Instructor - Emergency First Responder Instructor.
Scuba diving is so easy a 10 year old can do this so everyone is going to have a blast! We will show up to your hotel or we will meet at one of the local beaches on Anna Maria island to go diving. The average depth is only about 10 to 15 feet deep. Everyone in your family will love the chance to go scuba diving!
We do not offer guided boat dives!

ABOUT OUR CAPTAIN
Scuba Ethan got his nick name from all of his local buddies he grew up with. He was diving or spearfishing every day he could if he was not fishing with his buddies. Captain Ethan is a native born and raised here for over 33 years! Fishing & scuba diving has always been his passion! Captain Ethan really enjoys the variety of fishing & diving Florida has to offer. From the Florida keys all the way to Crystal River on the west coast of Florida captain Ethan has dove and fished in these areas. He uses a variety of techniques throughout the year while targeting the wide range of fish species we have to offer on the west coast of Florida. He mostly uses live bait with clients but there are times he likes to use cut bait and artificial lures. Fishing is a science and you must approach each targeted fish with the proper techniques to achieve the best results. Over the past 30+ years of fishing Ethan has learned a lot of secret locations in our local waterways and he is excited to show you a great time on the water catching fish like a true local.

Kingfish boat ramp is a beautiful public boat launch located on Holmes Beach just before the northern most bridge.
You can drive your golf cart & vehicle to the ramp.
There is parking on both ends East or West of the boat launches.
Be sure to arrive 15 minutes early!

Our adventure to Egmont Key was one of my family's favorite parts of vacation. Captain Ethan was personable, professional, and knowledgable about the area, and the price was very reasonable. He was also flexible and accommodated my family's diverse interests: some were able to explore the island while others snorkeled. My family and I are already planning a deep sea fishing trip with him for our next visit to the area.

Went out with the family for a two hour afternoon sightseeing tour with Captain Ethan. Was an excellent experience all around. Boat was in impeccable condition and he was very safety and comfort conscious, which was our utmost concern having a 7 month old on the trip. He was able to find a pod of dolphins for us to watch for several minutes, which was great fun. Highly recommend his operation for sightseeing, snorkeling, diving, fishing, etc... and look forward to going out with him again when we return to AMI.

Ethan took 6 of us out for some near shore fishing. We hauled in lots of snook and trout and had a great time. Ethan was very knowledgeable and very friendly. We all commented that this was the best fishing trip that we have gone on.
